Jehovah

Josiah — 'Jehovah heals' or 'whom Jehovah supports'

And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense. 1 Kings 13:1–3

Jehovah, who knows the end from the beginning, names a child of David's house long before he is born, and gives a sign the same day. It shows the same God later foretold the Son of David, Jesus, by name and role.

How we know: Jehovah is the premortal Christ (Abraham 1:16; D&C 110:3–4)

• fulfilled by 2 Kings 23:15-16 — Josiah burns bones upon the altar at Bethel 'according to the word of the LORD which the man of God proclaimed'.

Jehovah

And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded thee, 1 Kings 13:21–22

The word of the LORD comes even through the lying old prophet and holds the man of God to exactly what Jehovah commanded. His word is to be obeyed over any contrary voice, even one claiming an angel.
