Bread of Life (the shewbread)

Shewbread — 'bread of the presence', set before the LORD

So the priest gave him hallowed bread: for there was no bread there but the shewbread, that was taken from before the LORD, to put hot bread in the day when it was taken away. 1 Samuel 21:6

The shewbread was holy bread kept in the LORD's presence, and here it sustains the hungry anointed future king. Jesus pointed to this very event (Matthew 12, Mark 2, Luke 6), and He is the true bread from God's presence that gives life.
