Jehovah

LORD (Jehovah) — the covenant name; the premortal Christ

But the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying, 2 Chronicles 11:2–4

Jehovah speaks through Shemaiah in the first person, 'this thing is done of me,' and the people obey. The God of the Old Testament who directs His people by prophets is Jesus Christ before His birth.

Sacrifice as a similitude of Christ

And after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the LORD God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the LORD God of their fathers. 2 Chronicles 11:16

Faithful Israelites left home to offer the sacrifices of the law at the true temple. Those sacrifices were a likeness of the sacrifice of the Only Begotten, so seeking the LORD at His altar was seeking Christ.
