Tree of Life

And out of the ground made the Gods to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food; the tree of life, also, in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Abraham 5:9

The tree of life stands at the center of Eden. In Nephi's vision the tree of life represents the love of God, shown in the birth and mission of His Son, so this tree points to Jesus Christ, the source of eternal life.
