Acts 16

Jesus Christ

And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. Acts 16:18

Paul casts out an evil spirit by the authority of Jesus Christ's name, and it obeys at once. The power belongs to Christ, acting through His authorized servant.

Faith in Christ

And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? Acts 16:30–31

The terrified jailor asks the most important question anyone can ask, and the answer is Jesus Christ. Faith in Him leads the jailor and his family to baptism that same night.
