The strait gate

Wherefore, although a man should be baptized an hundred times it availeth him nothing, for you cannot enter in at the strait gate by the law of Moses, neither by your dead works. Doctrine and Covenants 22:2–4

The gate is baptism by Christ's authority into His covenant; the law of Moses alone cannot save. The speaker, 'your God', is Christ, who keeps the gate and sets its terms.
