Jesus Christ (the Giver of gifts)

For verily I say unto you, they are given for the benefit of those who love me and keep all my commandments, and him that seeketh so to do; that all may be benefited that seek or that ask of me, that ask and not for a sign that they may consume it upon their lusts. Doctrine and Covenants 46:9

The Lord speaking echoes His mortal words: love for Him is shown by keeping His commandments.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God

Jesus — Jehovah saves; Christ — the Anointed One

To some it is given by the Holy Ghost to know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that he was crucified for the sins of the world. Doctrine and Covenants 46:13

A spiritual gift is a sure witness from the Holy Ghost that Jesus is the divine Son of God who was crucified for everyone's sins.

How we know: the verse itself names Him · a Church study aid lists it

• alludes to 1 Corinthians 12:3 — No man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
• alludes to John 15:26 — The Spirit of truth shall testify of me.
• the same title in D&C 76:22-23 — Joseph and Sidney's witness that He is the Only Begotten.

Faith in Christ

To others it is given to believe on their words, that they also might have eternal life if they continue faithful. Doctrine and Covenants 46:14

Those who believe the testimony of others who know Christ can also gain eternal life by staying faithful.

The same Lord

And again, to some it is given by the Holy Ghost to know the differences of administration, as it will be pleasing unto the same Lord, according as the Lord will, suiting his mercies according to the conditions of the children of men. Doctrine and Covenants 46:15

Echoing Paul, the many ways the Church is administered all serve the same Lord, Jesus Christ, who fits His mercy to each person's circumstances.

In the Name of Christ

And again, I say unto you, all things must be done in the name of Christ, whatsoever you do in the Spirit; Doctrine and Covenants 46:31

Everything done by the Spirit, in prayer, ordinances and service, is done in the name of Jesus Christ.

How we know: the verse itself names Him
