Jehovah, God of the Hebrews

Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me. Exodus 9:1

Jehovah names Himself the God of the Hebrews and again claims Israel as His people. For Latter-day Saints this is the voice of Christ before His mortal birth.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me. Exodus 9:13–16

Jehovah says He lets Pharaoh stand so that His power is seen and His name is known everywhere. The premortal Christ wants all people, not just Israel, to know who He is.

The earth is the LORD's

And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto the LORD; and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth is the LORD’s. Exodus 9:29

Moses says the storm will stop so Pharaoh will know the earth belongs to Jehovah. Latter-day Saints believe Jesus Christ created the earth under the Father, so it is His; in D&C 14:9 He says He 'created the heavens and the earth.'
