Jehovah

LORD renders the divine name Jehovah

Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? Job 12:9–10

The beasts, birds and fish all testify that the LORD, Jehovah, made them and holds every soul in His hand. Latter-day Saints know Jehovah as the premortal Christ, the Creator.

Light to those in the shadow of death

He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death. Job 12:22

Job praises a God who brings the shadow of death into the light. The same image is used of Jesus Christ, who came to give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death.
