Jehovah

Jehovah — the covenant name, rendered LORD; the premortal Jesus Christ

And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying, Leviticus 15:1

Jehovah, the premortal Christ, gives the laws of cleanness.

Sacrifice in similitude of the Only Begotten

And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest: Leviticus 15:14–15

Cleansing is completed only by an offering and an atonement before the LORD, pointing to the Savior's sacrifice, which alone makes a person fully clean.

Ministry of Jesus Christ

And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean. Leviticus 15:25–27

Under this law a woman with a long issue of blood made unclean whatever she touched. When such a woman touched the hem of Jesus' garment, she did not make Him unclean; His power made her whole.

Sacrifice in similitude of the Only Begotten

And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. Leviticus 15:29–30

The woman's cleansing likewise ends in atonement through sacrifice, a shadow of the Savior's offering for all.

Jehovah

Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them. Leviticus 15:31

Jehovah, the premortal Christ, calls the tabernacle "my tabernacle that is among them": He dwells in the midst of His people, and uncleanness must be kept from His house. The Church footnotes this to Moses 6:57, where no unclean thing can dwell in God's presence.
