Jehovah

Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell. Numbers 5:3

Jehovah, the premortal Jesus Christ, speaks of dwelling in the middle of Israel's camp. The camp had to be kept clean because He lived among them, just as we must be clean to have Him with us.

Sacrifice in Similitude

But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him. Numbers 5:8

After confessing and repaying what he took, the sinner still needed a ram offered to make atonement. Repentance includes making things right, but only the sacrifice that points to Jesus Christ can cleanse the sin.
