God of Jacob

Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob; Psalms 114:7

The God of Jacob who led Israel out of Egypt is Jehovah. Nephi taught that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is the one who would give Himself up to be crucified.

Smitten Rock

Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters. Psalms 114:8

The rock that gave Israel water in the desert is a type of Christ, from whom living water flows. Paul says plainly, "that Rock was Christ."
