Jehovah (the LORD)
Jehovah — the premortal Jesus Christ, the covenant God of Israel
Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Psalms 127:1–3
The LORD here is Jehovah, the premortal Christ. The psalm teaches that any house, city, or family built without Him is built in vain.
