None That Doeth Good

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. Psalms 53:1–3

Paul quotes these lines to show everyone has sinned and needs to be made righteous through faith in Jesus Christ.

Salvation Out of Zion

Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad. Psalms 53:6

The psalmist longs for Israel's salvation to come out of Zion. Paul says the Deliverer who comes out of Sion is Christ, who will save Israel.
