Zechariah 13

Atonement

In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. Zechariah 13:1

Right after the pierced One of chapter 12, a fountain is opened to wash away sin and uncleanness. That cleansing flows from the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

Second Coming — the Wounds in His Hands

And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. Zechariah 13:6

In context this line sits among false prophets, but the Lord Himself in D&C 45 applies it to His Second Coming: the Jews will ask about the wounds in His hands and feet, and He will answer that He was wounded in the house of His friends.

Good Shepherd — the Smitten Shepherd

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. Zechariah 13:7

God calls this shepherd 'the man that is my fellow' — His equal and companion — and allows him to be struck. Jesus quoted this verse about Himself on the night of His arrest, when His disciples scattered.

Jehovah

And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God. Zechariah 13:9

The refined remnant calls on Jehovah's name and He answers, renewing the covenant bond. The God they claim is Jesus Christ.
