Jehovah the Lawgiver

Jehovah (LORD) — the covenant name, 'I AM'

But the children of the murderers he slew not: according unto that which is written in the book of the law of Moses, wherein the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall be put to death for his own sin. 2 Kings 14:6

The LORD who gave the law of Moses is Jehovah, and the resurrected Christ told the Nephites He was the one who gave that law. The law quoted here teaches that each person is accountable for his own sins.

Jehovah, God of Israel

Jehovah (LORD) — the covenant name, 'I AM'

He restored the coast of Israel from the entering of Hamath unto the sea of the plain, according to the word of the LORD God of Israel, which he spake by the hand of his servant Jonah, the son of Amittai, the prophet, which was of Gathhepher. 2 Kings 14:25

The LORD God of Israel speaks through His prophet Jonah, and His word comes true when Israel's borders are restored. This is the same Jonah whose three days in the fish Jesus later used as a sign of His own burial and Resurrection.

Jehovah the Saviour

Jehovah (LORD) — the covenant name, 'I AM'

For the LORD saw the affliction of Israel, that it was very bitter: for there was not any shut up, nor any left, nor any helper for Israel. 2 Kings 14:26–27

When Israel has no one left to help, Jehovah sees their bitter suffering and saves them, even through an unrighteous king. He does not let the name of His people be blotted out; that is the heart of a Saviour.
