Jesus Christ

And I will send upon him the Comforter, which shall teach him the truth and the way whither he shall go; Doctrine and Covenants 79:2

Jesus Christ, who names Himself in verse 4, promises to send the Comforter to teach His missionary the truth and show him where to go. It is the promise He made to His apostles.
