Jehovah

Jehovah — the covenant name, rendered LORD; the premortal Jesus Christ

And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them, Leviticus 11:1

LORD in small capitals stands for Jehovah, who Latter-day Saints understand is the premortal Jesus Christ. The whole law of clean and unclean comes from Him.

Jehovah speaks in His own voice: Israel is to be holy because He is holy, and He is the one who brought them out of Egypt. Peter quotes this very call, "Be ye holy; for I am holy," to Christians.
