Bread of Life

And when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon: Leviticus 2:1–2

An offering of finely ground flour, anointed with oil and fragrant with frankincense, is traditionally read as a picture of Christ's perfect life and of Him as the living bread.

Sacrifice as a similitude of Christ

No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire. Leviticus 2:11

Leaven, which puffs up and spreads, stands for corruption in scripture, so offerings had to be unleavened. It pictures Christ's sinless offering.

Firstfruits

And if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears. Leviticus 2:14

The first of the harvest was offered to the Lord (also v12). Paul calls the risen Christ the firstfruits of the Resurrection.
