Sacrifice in Similitude

One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering: Numbers 7:15–17

Every tribe brought the same burnt offering, sin offering, and peace offering to dedicate the altar. All of Israel came to God through the same sacrifices, pointing to the one sacrifice of Jesus Christ that every person needs. The same offering repeats for each prince through verse 83 and is totaled in verses 87-88.

Mercy Seat

And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him. Numbers 7:89

The mercy seat was the lid of the ark where blood was sprinkled on the Day of Atonement, and where God met and spoke with His people. It points to Jesus Christ, through whose mercy and Atonement we can come into God's presence.

Jehovah

When Moses went into the tabernacle, Jehovah, the premortal Christ, spoke to him in an audible voice. The Lord Israel worshipped was a living God who talked with His prophet.
