Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD. Psalms 135:1–6

Israel praises the name of Jehovah, the premortal Christ, who chose them as His own treasure and is greater than all gods.

Jehovah delivered Israel at the Passover and brought them into their inheritance. The Passover deliverance is itself a type of Christ's redemption.

The eternal Name (I AM)

Jehovah — 'I AM', the eternal, self-existent One

Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations. Psalms 135:13–14

The psalm echoes the moment Jehovah revealed His name to Moses as a memorial to all generations, and repeats Moses' song that the LORD will judge His people.
