Resurrection of Christ

I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Psalms 16:8–9

Peter taught on the day of Pentecost that David was speaking for Jesus here: the Savior trusted His Father completely, so even His body in the tomb rested in hope of rising.

Thine Holy One

Holy One — the one set apart as perfectly holy to God

For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Psalms 16:10

The Holy One would not be left in the spirit world nor would His body decay. Peter and Paul both declared this was fulfilled when Jesus rose from the dead on the third day.

The risen Christ in the Father's presence

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalms 16:11

Peter included this verse in his Pentecost sermon: after rising, Jesus was exalted to the Father's right hand, where there is fulness of joy.
