The King given life for ever

Messiah — the Anointed King

For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head. Psalms 21:3–7

The king receives a golden crown, life for ever and ever, and eternal blessing because he trusts the LORD. Only the Messiah fully fits this: the risen Christ lives for evermore and is crowned King.
