The name of the God of Jacob

Jehovah — the LORD, the covenant name of the premortal Christ

The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Psalms 20:1

The people pray that the name of the God of Jacob will protect their king. The God of Jacob is Jehovah, the premortal Christ, whose name is our defense.

His anointed

Messiah — the Anointed One

Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. Psalms 20:6

The king is the LORD's anointed, in Hebrew his messiah. David's anointed kingship points to Jesus, the Messiah, whom the Father heard and saved out of death.
