Zechariah 8

Jehovah

Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain. Zechariah 8:3

Jehovah, the premortal Christ, promises to come back and live among His people. Latter-day Saints see this fulfilled as He dwells with the righteous, finally in His millennial reign.

Savior

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country; Zechariah 8:7–8

Jehovah declares He will save and gather His scattered people and renew the covenant: 'my people ... their God.' The One who saves and gathers Israel is Jesus Christ.

The nations will one day come seeking the LORD of hosts. The God the Gentiles come to worship is Jehovah, Jesus Christ.
