Son of David

And all the congregation made a covenant with the king in the house of God. And he said unto them, Behold, the king’s son shall reign, as the LORD hath said of the sons of David. 2 Chronicles 23:3

Jehoiada appeals to the LORD's promise that David's descendants would keep the throne. That covenant promise is ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the Son of David, whose kingdom has no end.

Messiah (the Anointed King)

Messiah — the Anointed One

Then they brought out the king’s son, and put upon him the crown, and gave him the testimony, and made him king. And Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and said, God save the king. 2 Chronicles 23:11

The hidden heir of David is brought out of the house of God, crowned, and anointed. Kings of David's line were 'anointed ones,' which is what Messiah and Christ mean, pointing to Jesus as the true anointed King.

Jehovah

Jehovah — the covenant God, the premortal Jesus Christ

And Jehoiada made a covenant between him, and between all the people, and between the king, that they should be the LORD’s people. 2 Chronicles 23:16

The people covenant to belong to the LORD (Jehovah), the premortal Jesus Christ. Being His covenant people is the Old Testament form of taking His name upon us.

How we know: Jehovah is the premortal Christ (Abraham 1:16; D&C 110:3–4)

Sacrifice as similitude of the Only Begotten

Also Jehoiada appointed the offices of the house of the LORD by the hand of the priests the Levites, whom David had distributed in the house of the LORD, to offer the burnt offerings of the LORD, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, as it was ordained by David. 2 Chronicles 23:18

Restoring the burnt offerings of the law of Moses restores the ordinance that pointed to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Latter-day scripture says these sacrifices were a similitude of the Only Begotten.
