Jehovah

Jehovah (LORD) — the covenant name, 'I AM', the unchangeable God

Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the LORD hath done that which he spake by his servant Elijah. 2 Kings 10:10

The LORD is Jehovah, the premortal Jesus Christ. None of His words 'fall to the earth': what He says through His prophets happens, which is why we can trust His promises.

Jehovah (LORD) — the covenant name, 'I AM'

And the LORD said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in mine eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in mine heart, thy children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel. 2 Kings 10:30

Jehovah speaks to Jehu and makes a promise about his descendants. Jehovah rewards the obedience that was real, even though verse 31 shows Jehu's heart was not fully His.
