Redeemer

Redeemer — one who buys back or rescues

And David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said unto them, As the LORD liveth, who hath redeemed my soul out of all adversity, 2 Samuel 4:9

David swears by Jehovah as the One who has redeemed his soul. Latter-day Saints recognize Jehovah as Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of every soul.

How we know: Jehovah is the premortal Christ (Abraham 1:16; D&C 110:3–4)
