The Lord Jesus Christ

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: 2 Thessalonians 1:1–2

The Lord Jesus Revealed from Heaven

And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 2 Thessalonians 1:7–8

At His Second Coming Jesus will be revealed from heaven with angels and fire. Those who troubled His Saints and rejected His gospel will face justice, and the faithful will find rest.

Judgment from the Presence of the Lord

Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; 2 Thessalonians 1:9

The wicked will be shut out from the presence of the Lord Jesus and His glory. Being cut off from Him is itself the punishment.

Glorified in His Saints

"He" is the Lord Jesus. When He comes, His glory will be seen in the people He has saved and changed.

Those who carry Christ's name bring honor to it by how they live, and He in turn glorifies them. It all happens by the grace of the Father and the Son.
