1 Thessalonians 5

The Day of the Lord

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 1 Thessalonians 5:2–4

The "day of the Lord" is the Savior's Second Coming. It will surprise the unprepared like a thief at night, but children of light who watch will not be caught off guard.

Salvation comes by Jesus Christ, who died for us. Whether we are alive or have died when He comes, we will live with Him.

Paul prays that the Saints will be kept blameless in spirit, soul, and body until Jesus Christ comes again.
