Jesus

Jesus — Jehovah saves

And now it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words he turned again to the multitude, and did open his mouth unto them again, saying: Verily, verily, I say unto you, Judge not, that ye be not judged. 3 Nephi 14:1–12

Jesus teaches the multitude not to judge unrighteously, and promises that the Father gives good gifts to those who ask, seek, and knock.

The Way

Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, which leadeth to destruction, and many there be who go in thereat; 3 Nephi 14:13–14

Christ, who is the way and the door, describes the narrow gate and path that lead to eternal life. Other Book of Mormon prophets identify that gate with Christ and baptism in His name.

Jesus Christ

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 3 Nephi 14:15–20

The Savior warns against false prophets and teaches how to tell true from false: look at the fruit their lives produce.

Judgment

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven. 3 Nephi 14:21–23

Jesus speaks of the day of judgment, when He will be the Judge. Calling Him "Lord" or doing works in His name is not enough without doing the Father's will and truly knowing Him.

Rock

Therefore, whoso heareth these sayings of mine and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, who built his house upon a rock— 3 Nephi 14:24–27

In the parable, the rock is hearing and doing Christ's sayings. Book of Mormon prophets teach that the rock that keeps a life from falling is Christ Himself.
