Taking His name

Nazarenes — followers of Jesus of Nazareth

For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes: Acts 24:5

Opponents call the disciples 'Nazarenes', a name taken from Jesus of Nazareth. Even as an insult, the label ties believers to Him.

Resurrection

But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets: Acts 24:14–15

Paul calls his faith in Jesus 'the way' and says it fulfills the law and prophets. He testifies that all people, good and evil, will be resurrected — a gift made possible by Christ's Resurrection.

Faith in Christ

Christ — the Anointed One

And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. Acts 24:24–25

Paul teaches a Roman governor about faith in Christ and the coming judgment. The message pierces Felix enough to make him tremble, though he puts off acting on it.
