Son of God

Son of God — the divine Son of the Father

And Zeezrom said again: Who is he that shall come? Is it the Son of God? Alma 11:32–33

Zeezrom asks who is coming, and Amulek says plainly that it is the Son of God. The Nephites looked forward to Christ by name and title before He was born.

Savior

And Zeezrom said again: Shall he save his people in their sins? And Amulek answered and said unto him: I say unto you he shall not, for it is impossible for him to deny his word. Alma 11:34–37

Amulek teaches that Christ saves people from their sins, not in them, because no unclean thing can enter God's kingdom. Being saved means letting Him change us through repentance.

Eternal Father of heaven and earth

Eternal Father — the Creator of heaven and earth, and Father of all who are spiritually born of Him

Now Zeezrom saith again unto him: Is the Son of God the very Eternal Father? Alma 11:38–39

Amulek calls the Son of God the very Eternal Father of heaven and earth. In Latter-day Saint teaching this means Christ is the Creator of this world and the Father of those reborn through Him, while He remains distinct from Heavenly Father.

The Beginning and the End, the First and the Last

Alpha and Omega — the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet: He was before all and will finish all

And Amulek said unto him: Yea, he is the very Eternal Father of heaven and of earth, and all things which in them are; he is the beginning and the end, the first and the last; Alma 11:39

These titles say Christ is eternal and over all of history. The same words Jehovah used of Himself in Isaiah and Jesus used in Revelation are applied here to the Son of God.

The Atonement

And he shall come into the world to redeem his people; and he shall take upon him the transgressions of those who believe on his name; and these are they that shall have eternal life, and salvation cometh to none else. Alma 11:40

Amulek foretells Christ's birth and His Atonement: He will take on Himself the sins of those who believe in Him. Salvation comes only through Him.

The Resurrection

Therefore the wicked remain as though there had been no redemption made, except it be the loosing of the bands of death; for behold, the day cometh that all shall rise from the dead and stand before God, and be judged according to their works. Alma 11:41–43

Amulek names Christ and teaches that His death will break the bands of death for everyone, good or wicked. Every person will be resurrected with body and spirit reunited because of Him.

The Judgment bar of Christ

Now, this restoration shall come to all, both old and young, both bond and free, both male and female, both the wicked and the righteous; and even there shall not so much as a hair of their heads be lost; but every thing shall be restored to its perfect frame, as it is now, or in the body, and shall be brought and be arraigned before the bar of Christ the Son, and God the Father, and the Holy Spirit, which is one Eternal God, to be judged according to their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil. Alma 11:44

After the Resurrection everyone will stand before the judgment bar of Christ the Son, together with the Father and the Holy Ghost, who are one in purpose. Christ is named first as the Judge.
