Jesus Christ — All Power; Follow Me

Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you, my friends Sidney and Joseph, your families are well; they are in mine hands, and I will do with them as seemeth me good; for in me there is all power. Doctrine and Covenants 100:1–2

Christ reassures the missionaries that their families are safe in His hands, because all power is in Him, and invites them to follow Him as He invited His first disciples.

Jesus Christ — Words Given in the Hour

The Lord renews the promise Jesus gave His apostles: when they speak for Him, the words will be given to them in the moment they need them.

Christ promises to be with His servants to the end, as the resurrected Jesus promised His apostles when He sent them into the world.

Calling on the Name of the Lord
