Doctrine and Covenants 106

Ministry (His words)

And should preach my everlasting gospel, and lift up his voice and warn the people, not only in his own place, but in the adjoining counties; Doctrine and Covenants 106:2–3

The Lord repeats His own mortal teachings: seek the kingdom first, and the laborer is worthy of his hire.

Second Coming

Jesus Christ warns that His Second Coming is near and will surprise the world like a thief; those who live as children of light will be ready.

King (His scepter)

And again, verily I say unto you, there was joy in heaven when my servant Warren bowed to my scepter, and separated himself from the crafts of men; Doctrine and Covenants 106:6

The Lord holds the royal scepter; bowing to it means accepting Christ as King, and heaven rejoices over one who repents.

Grace

Therefore, blessed is my servant Warren, for I will have mercy on him; and, notwithstanding the vanity of his heart, I will lift him up inasmuch as he will humble himself before me. Doctrine and Covenants 106:7–8

The Son speaks of "my Father," promising mercy, His enabling grace, and a crown in the Father's mansions — the place He went to prepare for His disciples.
