Jehovah

Jehovah — the premortal and resurrected Lord Jesus Christ who speaks the revelations

Verily thus saith the Lord unto you, my servant Lyman: Your sins are forgiven you, because you have obeyed my voice in coming up hither this morning to receive counsel of him whom I have appointed. Doctrine and Covenants 108:1–2

The Lord Jesus Christ speaks and personally forgives Lyman's sins, something only the Savior, through His Atonement, has power to do. He invites Lyman to let his soul rest.

• alludes to Mark 2:5 — Jesus tells the man sick of the palsy, "thy sins be forgiven thee."
• alludes to Matthew 11:28-29 — Christ promises rest to the souls of those who come to Him.

Jehovah

Behold, this is the promise of the Father unto you if you continue faithful. Doctrine and Covenants 108:5–6

The Son speaks of "the promise of the Father" as someone other than Himself, and calls the gospel "my gospel." The verse shows the Father and the Son as distinct, with the Son delivering the Father's promises.

Savior / Deliverer

And behold, and lo, I am with you to bless you and deliver you forever. Amen. Doctrine and Covenants 108:8

Christ promises to be with His servant and to deliver him forever, the work of a Savior.
