Jesus Christ

Jesus — Jehovah saves; Christ — the Anointed One

My son Orson, hearken and hear and behold what I, the Lord God, shall say unto you, even Jesus Christ your Redeemer; Doctrine and Covenants 34:1

The Lord God speaking is identified by name as Jesus Christ.

Redeemer

Redeemer — the One who buys us back from sin and death

Christ is the light and life of all people; darkness cannot overcome or understand His light.

Second Coming

Christ calls Orson to cry repentance to prepare for His return, when He will come in a cloud with great glory.
