Those who die faithful to Christ will rise at His coming, be glorified like Him, and be one with Him.

The speaker recalls Satan's rebellion in the premortal council. In Moses 4 Satan demanded the Father's honor and opposed the Beloved Son; here Christ voices the account, so the 'me' may be the Father's words spoken by the Son.

Wherefore, I, the Lord God, caused that he should be cast out from the Garden of Eden, from my presence, because of his transgression, wherein he became spiritually dead, which is the first death, even that same death which is the last death, which is spiritual, which shall be pronounced upon the wicked when I shall say: Depart, ye cursed. Little children are saved through the Atonement of the Only Begotten, planned before the world was made.
