The Lord who was Crucified

Behold, I, the Lord, who was crucified for the sins of the world, give unto you a commandment that you shall forsake the world. Doctrine and Covenants 53:2

The Lord who gives revelations is the same Jesus who was crucified for everyone's sins; He asks His disciple to leave the world behind.

Elders hold Christ's own ordination and preach His doctrine: faith, repentance, baptism for remission of sins, and the Holy Ghost.
