Judgment unto Victory

For thus saith the Lord, I will cut my work short in righteousness, for the days come that I will send forth judgment unto victory. Doctrine and Covenants 52:11

The Lord will hasten His work and bring His judgment to triumph, words the New Testament uses of the Messiah.

Jesus Christ (His warning repeated)

And let my servant Lyman Wight beware, for Satan desireth to sift him as chaff. Doctrine and Covenants 52:12

As Jesus warned Peter that Satan wanted to sift him as wheat, He warns Lyman Wight the same way.

Faithful Servant Rewarded

And behold, he that is faithful shall be made ruler over many things. Doctrine and Covenants 52:13

The reward promised echoes the Lord's parable of the talents.

Discipleship of Christ

And remember in all things the poor and the needy, the sick and the afflicted, for he that doeth not these things, the same is not my disciple. Doctrine and Covenants 52:40

Being Christ's disciple means caring for the poor, sick and afflicted, as He taught that service to them is service to Him.

Jehovah who hastens Zion

But, behold, I, the Lord, will hasten the city in its time, and will crown the faithful with joy and with rejoicing. Doctrine and Covenants 52:43

Jehovah's promise in Isaiah, 'I the LORD will hasten it in his time,' is spoken by the One who names Himself Jesus Christ in the next verse.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God

Jesus — Jehovah saves; Christ — the Anointed One

Behold, I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and I will lift them up at the last day. Even so. Amen. Doctrine and Covenants 52:44

The Savior signs this revelation with His name and divine Sonship.

Resurrection at the Last Day

Behold, I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and I will lift them up at the last day. Even so. Amen. Doctrine and Covenants 52:44

Christ promises He Himself will raise the faithful at the last day, echoing His words in John 6.
