Jesus Christ — He Forgives Sins

Thus saith the Lord, verily, verily I say unto you my son, thy sins are forgiven thee, according to thy petition, for thy prayers and the prayers of thy brethren have come up into my ears. Doctrine and Covenants 90:1

The Savior speaks and forgives Joseph Smith's sins with the same words He spoke in mortality, 'thy sins are forgiven thee.' He calls Joseph 'my son,' just as He called a man He healed.

Arm of the Lord

Arm of the Lord — the Lord's saving power, personified in the Messiah

And then cometh the day when the arm of the Lord shall be revealed in power in convincing the nations, the heathen nations, the house of Joseph, of the gospel of their salvation. Doctrine and Covenants 90:10

Isaiah uses 'the arm of the Lord' for God's saving power, and in Isaiah 53 that arm is the suffering Messiah. In the last days Christ's power will be revealed as the gospel convinces the nations.

Jesus Christ

The Holy Ghost gives missionaries power so that every person can learn of Jesus Christ in their own language.
