Mediator
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Ezekiel 22:30
The Lord looks for someone to stand in the broken wall between Him and a guilty people, and finds no one. No mortal could do it; Jesus Christ is the one Mediator who stands in the gap for us so that we are not destroyed.
