Jehovah

LORD (small capitals) — the covenant name Jehovah

Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the LORD. Genesis 13:4

Abram goes back to his first altar and worships Jehovah, who is the premortal Jesus Christ. Calling on the name of the LORD is the phrase the Topical Guide lists under Jesus Christ, Jehovah at Genesis 4:26.

Jehovah

And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: Genesis 13:14–17

Jehovah speaks to Abram and promises him the land and a posterity too large to count. The God giving these covenant promises is the premortal Christ.

Seed of Abraham

For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. Genesis 13:15

Paul teaches that the promises made "to thy seed" point to one Seed, Christ. Everyone who belongs to Christ becomes Abraham's seed and an heir of the promise.

Jehovah

Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD. Genesis 13:18

At Hebron, Abram builds another altar to Jehovah, the premortal Christ, and so marks the place where he will live as a place of worship.
