LORD of hosts — Jehovah, commander of the armies of heaven
And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle. Jeremiah 19:3
Jeremiah speaks for the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel. Latter-day Saints understand Jehovah, the God who sent Jeremiah, to be the premortal Jesus Christ. The same voice repeats the warning in verses 11 and 15.
