Jehovah
Jehovah (LORD) — the covenant name, "I AM", the self-existent One
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God. Leviticus 18:2–5
The LORD giving this law is Jehovah, the premortal Jesus Christ; the risen Savior told the Nephites, "I am he that gave the law." Paul later quotes verse 5 to show that living by the law alone cannot save, which points Israel to righteousness through faith in Christ.
