Leviticus 22

Jehovah

Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the LORD. Leviticus 22:2–3

Jehovah, the premortal Christ, warns that approaching holy things while unclean cuts a person off from His presence.

Sacrifice as a similitude of Christ

Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats. Leviticus 22:19–21

Only a perfect, unblemished male could be accepted on the altar. This foreshadows Jesus Christ, the sinless Son, whose perfect offering alone could be accepted for us.

Jehovah

Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD. Leviticus 22:31–33

Jehovah is the Deliverer from Egypt who makes His people holy. Christ identifies Himself in latter-day revelation as the One who led Israel out of Egypt.
