The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD. Proverbs 16:1–3
Jehovah, the premortal Christ, weighs our spirits and not just our actions, and He steadies the thoughts of those who commit their work to Him.

Jehovah made all things and they serve His purposes. The New Testament says the same of Christ: all things were created by Him and for Him.

By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil. Proverbs 16:6
The Hebrew word behind "purged" is the word for atonement. Sin is covered through mercy and truth, which meet perfectly in Jesus Christ, who is full of grace and truth.

When our lives please Jehovah, the premortal Christ, He can make peace even with our enemies.
