Jehovah

I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing. Psalms 101:1–2

David sings to Jehovah of both mercy and judgment and longs for the LORD to come to him. In Jesus Christ, mercy and justice meet, and He promises to come to those who keep His commandments.

Millennial Reign

Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me. Psalms 101:6–8

The ideal king keeps the faithful near him and clears wickedness from the city of the LORD. No mortal king did this perfectly. It foreshadows Christ's righteous reign, when the wicked are removed and the faithful dwell with Him.
