Psalms 104

Light of the World

Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Psalms 104:1–2

Jehovah wears light like a garment. At the Transfiguration Jesus' clothes became white as the light, and scripture teaches that Christ's light is in all things.

Son of God

Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: Psalms 104:4

Hebrews quotes this verse to show that angels are servants, while the Son is enthroned forever. The verse sets up the contrast that exalts Christ above the angels.

Creation by Christ

Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever. Psalms 104:5–9

The LORD laid the earth's foundations and rebuked the waters so they fled to their place. The Father created through the Son, and in mortality Jesus again 'rebuked' the wind and waves and they obeyed.

Creator

O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches. Psalms 104:24

All creation shows the wisdom of the LORD who made it. Jesus Christ is the Creator of heaven and earth under the Father.

Creation by Christ

Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust. Psalms 104:29–30

Life depends on the LORD's breath and Spirit, which create and renew the face of the earth. Latter-day Saints look for the earth to be renewed at Christ's coming and given paradisiacal glory.
