The evening sacrifice

Lord, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee. Psalms 141:1–2

The evening sacrifice was the lamb offered daily at twilight, a similitude of the Lamb of God. David offers prayer and uplifted hands in its place, pointing to worship through a sacrifice that foreshadowed Christ.
